A corner of paradise in Sifnos

Thalatta Studios is located in the picturesque village of Faros, in a spectacular location a few meters from four beautiful beaches. The view of the sea and the famous rock of Chrissopigi is breathtaking. Nearby you will find cosy taverns, a bakery and a small supermarket, all within walking distance. The bright and comfortable rooms have panoramic verandas and all the amenities for a relaxing stay. Ideal for those who want to experience the true atmosphere of the Cyclades, between crystal clear waters, silence and unforgettable sunsets.

Cosy, Friendly, Ideal Location for Beach and Fishing Marks

Late-September and booked through a booking platform en-route the night before.
Took bus from the port and then down to Faros. Accommodation was easy to find - standing in the car-park look around you, look up and you'll see the yellow and blue sign. Walk up the steps past Betty's bakery and bang, you're there.
A nice woman who lived in the next house welcomed us. We had 4 great nights on a ground floor studio with terrace. A compact, cosy studio with essential mosquito nets on the windows and a sensational view of the beach (see pics). It's down a flight of steps and a bit of a path to the water. It was great to go in for a swim about dusk when any fish started to get more active and there were fewer people about.
I'm into lure fishing from the shore, so this accommodation is great as I don't drive. As well as Chrisopigi being close by and a generally good mark (if you get there early at sunrise before the flip-floppers decide it's swimming only), there's also great access to a mark off the rocks round past Fassoulou Beach and there are plenty of the proverbial lizard fish, as well as sea-bream off the shore at the broken bridge. Depending on the number of bait-fish around, the barries do get pretty close in after dusk despite the water depth.
For the location, quality of traditional, rustic accommodation at a fair price and friendliness of the host, I'd definitely come back.

Mon petit paradis Vue magnifique de la terrasse.

Une adresse de rêve. Chaque studio dispose d'une terrasse avec une vue magnifique sur la mer englobant toute la baie et les monastères. Un escalier au pied de la propriété descend à la plage où vous pourrez vous installer à l'ombre des tamaris. L'emplacement est très calme même si à deux pas du port des restaurants et de toutes commodités. Accueil très convivial. Notre meilleure adresse en Grèce. Je recommande cet endroit aux parfums paradisiaque. Si vous aimez le naturel et le calme ne pas hésiter.

Μπαλκόνι στη μαγεία

Υπέροχο δωμάτιο όμορφα διακοσμημένο πεντακάθαρο με καταπληκτική θέα απο το ανθισμένο μπαλκονάκι ζείς κυριολεκτικά μέσα σε ένα κάδρο ζωγραφικής και την παραλία στα πόδια σου. Πολλές ευχαριστίες στην κ. Αθηνά που μας καθάριζε και στον Γιώργο Λεμπέση για την φιλοξενία αλλά και τους υπέροχους απο τα χεράκια του σιφναίικους μεζέδες στο εστιατοριό του στην Χρυσοπηγή . Όνειρεμένο καλοκαίρι στην Σίφνο σίγουρα θα ξαναπάμε !!

Une vue à couper le souffle

Situé sur les hauteurs de Faros, il faut monter environ 50 marches pour accéder aux appartements, mais quelle vue !!
Vue sur la baie de Faros, le monastère au loin, la plage Glyfo juste en bas... C'est magique de se réveiller face à ce panorama ou de manger sur la terrasse.
L'eau est transparente et cela se voit de la terrasse. L'appartement est propre, au confort cependant modeste. Les moustiques du soir impertunent, mais la vue fait tout oublier !!!
