The best stay of my life

Perfect hotel with pools. It was very nice stay. Its only bad was the depth of the pool (1.3-1.4m) which is unsuitable for young children.

I’ve been conned again !

I’ve been conned again !
There’s only one word to describe Ikaros Studio : depressing. Decoration is antiquated and in doubtful taste : door frames painted in a garish yellow, big bunch of long outdated plastic flowers, kitchen equipment dating from the time of Napoleon, towels as harsh as a cheese grater and of course pallid lighting that in the evening makes you ponder on the meaning of life.
I’ve been a traveller in Greece for the last 50 years and I’ve stayed many times in suchlike places, but never at the excessively excessive price of 95€ a night, without breakfast, at the end of the season (end of September) and too far from town to walk.
There’s another mystery: I made my reservation based on the fact Ikaros Studio was well rated on the Tripadvisor’s traveller’s choice list. Then later on they disappeared from the list. How comes ?
Understand me : it’s the combination of “depressing + high price” that motivates my negative opinion. At 50€ / 60€ a night it would have been OK.
There goes a little bit of the reputation of honesty of the Greek people.
The swimming pool in the middle of the olive grove is fine.

Marvelous

Nice location, quit area and friendly family staff,the pool was really clean also the studio that we ve stayed,it also perfect for kids ' I recommend you! I will come back and thanks all for the nice stay!!

Peaceful and relaxing

Stayed at the Studios for 5 days in September/October. This is a small suite of apartments and bungalows on the edge of Plakias set in an olive grove. it is set in attractive and well kept gardens with a good view of the surrounding hills and mountains. Our one bedroom bungalow was simple but comfortable and very well kept - it was cleaned daily - with plenty of clean linen and towels. It is a 10 minute walk down hill to the east end of Plakias beach and about 15-20 minutes walk down the main road (with side walk) to the centre. We'd have liked to stay longer.

Soggiorno rilassante. Consigliato

Appartamento accogliente, luminoso, pulito, con due camere da letto spaziose. Giardino curato, con tanti bei fiori e un bel prato verde. Molto carina anche la piscina. Parcheggio comodo sotto gli ulivi.
La Signora Maria è stata sempre molto gentile e disponibile.
Per tutto il soggiorno ci ha fatto compagnia un simpaticissimo gattino tigrato.
