Great location. Easy transfer from the airport by metro. Walking distance to the major points of interest in Athens.Nearby station if necessary to travel further afield
Rooms were of a good size and the beds were comfortable.
Definitely impressed by the standard of cleanliness
Breakfast was brilliant; freshly prepared each morning with plenty of choice
All the staff we encountered were friendly and eager to help
My family and I enjoyed a great stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it to other travellers

Acropolis Select Hotel. Koukaki. Rooftop bar / restaurant.

PROS
* Location. Central without the tourist traps. Restaurants, bars, coffee shop close by. Acropolis <10min easy flat walk.
* Proximity to public transportation, Metro (Syngrou-Fix), Trolleybus, Tram are all only minutes away
* Staff. Professional & Attentive. Special call out to Jim on front desk, plus BFast and Cleaning staffs. Great work.
* Breakfast. Good spread & selection with regular top ups.
* Clean throughout.
* AC & WiFi worked well.
* Lift (small) to upper floors
* Renovated rooms on upper floors (stayed on 5th), esp Bathroom
* Rooftop bar / restaurant with Acropolis views
* Daily supply of water bottles in room
* 15% discount (once only)

* Smallish rooms, but typical for Athens central
* Small touches, eg no bath robes

Hotel has a good location, nice restaurants in the streets around this hotel. We didn't have a view from the roof terrace due to construction activities.
Rooms are good and clean.
Breakfast is poor and didn't feel like fresh food.
Very small elevator which has an error often.

Centrally located, within walking distance to everything, Roof Bar offers views of the Acropolis.
We stayed at the hotel for a total of 5 nights. Overall, it's a good hotel, but I want to write about its advantages and disadvantages in detail.
Advantages
First of all, the hotel's location is excellent; if you enjoy walking, you can reach almost everything on foot. (Plate area, Acropolis, National Garden and other surrounding areas)
During our trip to Athens, we also saw the locations of other hotels that were candidates for this hotel, and we were so glad we booked this one; it's only a 3-minute walk from the Sygrou-Fix metro station. Additionally, if you'd like to do some grocery shopping, My Market is located nearby. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. We booked it with breakfast included, don't expect a variety of options, it's the same every day, but we were satisfied and had a relaxing breakfast before starting our trip. The hotel has a rooftop bar and restaurant on the top floor, so you might not need to go to another rooftop bar in Athens. Previous reviews stated they offered a 20% discount to hotel guests, but they have changed this to 15%. Also, this discount applies only to the bill for the day you choose, not the entire bill, and they've removed the two complimentary drinks (guests only get to enjoy the complimentary drinks and leave the hotel without eating or drinking anything extra). The rooms have balconies, which is a great advantage; it was good for airing out our clothes and drying our towels. The housekeeping staff were lovely, helpful in every way, and they also decorated our room beautifully; we'd like to thank them as well. The rooms have air conditioning and it cools very well; we even took a siesta with the air conditioning on during the hot midday hours.
Disadvantages
The rooms are very close together, which is understandable, but the sound insulation is poor, so every time someone flushed the toilet in the next room, it sounded like it was coming from our room. Sometimes we even checked our own toilet thinking the sound was coming from there. Of course, guests should also be mindful of noise levels late at night, but due to the poor insulation, we heard a lot of noise at night. If you are sensitive to noise, you might have difficulty sleeping in this hotel. The bathrooms are extremely small; there's a bathtub covered by a curtain, so even if you're very careful, the area can still fill with water after showering. It takes time to dry as well.

Very good customer service! Their breakfast is great!
The rooftop bar has the view of Acropolis and the staffs are welcoming and kind!
