Set on a 113-hectare site of vineyards and olive groves, this 19th-century château offers an outdoor swimming pool and a tennis court. Trèbes and the Canal du Midi are both a 5-minute drive away. With a private entrance, the cottages offer a terrace and a view of the swimming pool. Free WiFi access is available, and the kitchens include a stove, fridge and dishwasher. You can enjoy testing the award-winning wines from the wine cellar at Château Canet. BBQ facilities are also provided. The property also has a boules area and children can play on the swings in the garden. Communal laundry facilities are available. The city of Carcassonne is 15 km away and free public parking is possible nearby.

3 nights with friends in paradise

Just had the best time at this amazing place for a 3 day birthday celebration. The facilities are great (fab pool) the food was AMAZING, Victoria’s winery tour was enlightening, educational and really enjoyable. Victoria in fact could not have been a more helpful host, laying on taxis and having made wonderful recommendations to our host for restaurants etc

A wonderful stay in the heart of the Minervois

We had a fabulous stay at Château Canet as a family of four and it was one of the highlights of our holiday in southern France.
The setting is beautiful, surrounded by vineyards and countryside, wonderfully peaceful, yet within easy reach of Carcassonne. The château and grounds have real character and charm, and there is something particularly special about staying on a working wine estate.
Our accommodation was spacious and comfortable and the pool was an absolute delight, particularly during the very hot August weather. The whole place has a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere; it never felt crowded or overly commercial.
The hospitality was warm and genuine, and naturally the wine was another highlight. A special thanks to Victoria and Charlotte for allowing us to join a tour of the cellars. Sitting among the vineyards enjoying a glass of Château Canet wine really captured what we had hoped for from this final part of our French holiday.
A beautiful, peaceful and memorable place that we would happily return to. Highly recommended.

An unforgettable 50th birthday celebration at Château Canet

We celebrated my 50th birthday at Château Canet last year, and it truly was four unforgettable days. We invited friends and family to join us at this beautiful castle wine estate near Carcassonne, and every single moment was magical.
Victoria and Floris took care of absolutely everything for us — from a wonderful visit to the wine cellar, to lazy, joyful afternoons by the pool, to catering that was simply outstanding. Victoria in particular went above and beyond to make my dream of a truly special 50th birthday come true. Her care, warmth and attention to every detail made all the difference.
The setting itself is stunning — a real hidden gem in the Occitanie countryside — but what makes Château Canet so special is the people behind it. Floris and Victoria don't just host events, they pour their heart into making them personal and memorable.
If you're looking for a place to celebrate a milestone birthday, a wedding, or any special occasion with the people you love, I cannot recommend Château Canet highly enough. We still talk about those four days as one of the best celebrations of our lives.

The most perfect venue

We visited Chateau Canet for our wedding, and honestly, words can’t describe how amazing our experience was. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, everything was absolutely perfect. We stayed for 4 nights in total, and having the chateau exclusively for all of our wedding guests made the whole experience feel so special.
The Chateau itself is absolutely stunning. Every room is beautifully decorated, spacious, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. They have everything you could possibly need, and you can really tell how much care and attention has gone into making every guest feel welcome. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how lovely their rooms were.
The grounds are breathtaking and create the most beautiful setting for a wedding or a holiday! Everywhere you look there’s another perfect photo opportunity, and it truly feels like something out of a fairytale.
What really made our stay unforgettable, though, was the incredible team at Canet. Every single member of staff was so kind, welcoming, and genuinely invested in making sure our wedding was everything we had dreamed of (with a special mention to Anna and Victoria). Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they went above and beyond in so many little ways that made a huge difference. They made us feel completely at ease, allowing us to enjoy every second without worrying about a thing.
Looking back, we honestly couldn’t imagine getting married anywhere else. Every single one of our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was and what an amazing time they had. We left with memories that we’ll cherish for the rest of our lives, and we’re already talking about coming back to celebrate future anniversaries.
If you’re looking for a wedding venue that’s beautiful, relaxed, welcoming, and truly unforgettable or even just somewhere to stop for a few days then Chateau Canet is the perfect place.
Oh and the wine they make is amazing as well!

12 days living at Chateau Canet Vineyard

Our experience was a Billy’sBestBottles.com..and a wonderful experience it was. Our group of 20 were the only guests. After one day this group simply clicked..everyone was easily comfortable, able to take a joke, able to go with whatever. I felt like it was a reunion of old friends..seriously!
The Chateau owners and team were genuine, to welcome lunch was over the top and what followed was the same. I would call this a tour because each pair moved into their apartments for the 12 days and from there the first couple of days were pleasantly full. Eating every meal outside is the best..hearing a tractor in the vineyard…felt just like it should on a woking vineyard.
Our guides, restaurant chefs..were great, easy, no rush and they too seemed to enjoy our group. Shopping for our dinner at the market was great..were we in charge of 2 dinners( loosely in charge)..what can I say I loved this location and the experience. It was low key..I felt like I was part of the area..not just a tourist!
