Suitable

The location is very good. And the welcome is impeccable. Every staff we met was at the top.
We booked a room with shared shower. The room lacked practicality and deep hygiene (severe wear). On the other hand, she and the toilet seemed to wash regularly.
Breakfast was very good.

simple. for those who want to save money.

close to the train stations and very convenient for the metro. the area is quite dangerous especially in the evening so I would advise against going out alone for long periods. the rooms have the bare minimum, just for the price ratio. i didn't have an en-suite bathroom, except the sink, but it was my choice when i booked the room, to save money: the shared bathroom is easily accessible from the corridor and is clean. the manager who greeted me at check-in was quite slow to use the computer, and i had to wait almost an hour in the lobby, however i was early so i don't know if it was staff incompetence or if simply my room wasn't ready, but since the staff who greeted me didn't speak very good English, i'm not sure. the hotel offers a breakfast Service, however i didn't use it so i can't comment on it. the building is quite old, but it's clear that the hotel focuses on convenience and savings, not luxury, perfect for those like me who wanted to have a weekend in Paris saving.

Bedbugs in Paris!

There is no elevator and the bathroom door is broken.
The worst is yet to come: I was attacked by bedbugs, I didn't sleep all night!
I have huge bites and the itching is terrible.
I'll have to see a doctor.
Hotel to avoid!!

Very basic structure, to be considered only if you close a few eyes

It is a fairly basic structure, in an overall quiet area, even if apparently unsafe.
The breakfast, although simple in quantity and variety, was acceptable. The croissants were really good.
The structure is decidedly quiet, during the night it does not have a lift and is spread over 7 floors (fortunately we were only on the first).
In the common areas, the state of poor maintenance is clearly noticeable, with old and dirty carpets in the corridors.
The room was very cramped and a little shabby, especially considering the price paid, there were obvious signs of wear in the bathroom.

For budget travellers

We stayed three nights here
The property is excellent for its location in the sense that it is a 5-minute walk from Paris East Station and the metro
Nearby you have an excellent cafe bar for aperitifs or quick lunches LE RENOVEAU
And the BOUILLON CHArtier restaurant in front of the station
The rooms are clean but spartan and very dilapidated but the price is cheap for Paris
The breakfast is simple but excellent
Fresh bread and super croissants from the bakery next door
Friendly staff
PS don't venture to Chateau d EAux the metro stop duet from there on starts a kasbah only African and North African people reside there it seems like another Paris nkn recommended especially in the evening
