Quality/price very good. The only downside is the size of the room, which is really small.

Disappointing.
Our room was dark, small and basic, overlooking an alleyway. The bed was hard and only 2 thin pillows supplied. It was very disappointing to see.
I asked for 2 extra pillows and was told they would ask Housekeeping. We received them and thankfully they were of much better quality than the originals.
The ensuite bathroom was small with some toiletries in paper packets. The shower unit was tiny.
Towels were changed every day.
The paintwork on doors was chipped and it just felt grubby.
On the second morning we asked could we have breakfast and the man on reception just answered no. I waited and he said we would have to let them know in advance if we wanted breakfast. So we just left and went to a cafe around the corner.
Location wise it was 5 minutes walk to the train station and close to the main shopping area. It's a 20 minute walk to the Old town.
Overall, we were very disappointed in our stay. There was nobody at the desk as we were checking out so we could not give any feedback. A young man on the desk previously had been very pleasant and helpful.
We enjoyed Nice, but if we are coming back it will not be to Hotel Trocadero.

Great value hotel

Great hotel
Bright airy rooms and the staff were super friendly.
The location was great.so close to tracedero metro stop the room although not eiffle tower view advertised we could just see the top from our bed which was amazing
