Great hotel in a great location.
So close to everything that you could need.
The rooftop bar was lovely and great views across the city. Pool was nice - but didn’t go in.
Room was great, very clean has an issue with jacuzzi in the room and it was resolved within moments.
The only thing would be that for the whole 4 days we were there, there was only one lift working and when you are on a high floor walking up was not an option!!
ALL the staff were super friendly, and were on hand to help with anything.
Bag storage was so convenient on the day we arrived and departed.
Didn’t use the spa this time, as didnt have the time - but looked lovely.
Would highly recommend this hotel!!

Great hotel
Just back from a great stay at this hotel. Location is ideal, close to everything you need and we loved the rooftop area, it was lovely having breakfast overlooking the city and then going back for cocktails later in the day. Yes the pool is small, but that's to be expected on a rooftop. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming as well. Some of the reviews here are quite negative, so I just wanted to share our positive experience. We really enjoyed our stay.

Excellent Hotel
We stayed here for a week in the upgraded Deluxe room on 7th floor. Hotel staff were welcoming, our room was very large with seperate shower and bath. Large balcony with seats and sun loungers. The shutters on balcony are great addition, helps blackout room for sleep. Comfortable beds, cleaned each day. Rooftop pool and bar service are great - I think we were their best customers..spent a fair bit! Lovely breakfast with lots of hot and cold options. Definitely recommend and worth paying a bit more for the upgraded room. Great location for beach, train station and old Nice. Everything in walking distance.

We arrived at the Hotel and entered the Foyer which had a faint smell of an "off drain".
We were a little early, so we lwft our bags and went for lunch and came back 2 hours later. The Hotel did let us in 1 hour earlier, which we appreciated.
Our room was good, however overnight the bad drain smell had crept in, and was not pleasant. Asked house keeping to see what they could do. After being out all day, we returned and the drain had disinfectant and bleach poured down the drain. Within 2 days it was back.
After coming home from dinner we entered the foyer and there was an overwhelming smell of the drain, and people making comment, expressing that its bad.
The pool area has a good view and a number of chairs for drinking and eating, however only 8 sunlounges. The overcrowded pool area meant people had to sit on the floor/ decking to get space. I underdtand thst another hotel near by has an arrangement to let their guests use the pool at Splendid. It cannot cope with the volume.
Overall our stay would rate a 3, just but we wouldnt stay here next time.

Room was dated but spotless. Staff were all lovely and reception very helpful. Organised private transfer; champagne in the room and late check out. A beautiful flat walk into town. Seagull did pinch my bruchette off the plate so best eat indoors!
