Very good stay, very nice super clean room, we were received by the mistress and her adorable little boy who showed us his hens...... Breakfast Extra

We are delighted to have discovered this house! The only downside, having stayed there only one night!

We spent only one night in this guest house, but what happiness.
The room "Lilleul" is a little sweet!
Not to mention the warm Welcoming of Melanie and Remi!
A French breakfast, but "so British"!
If your road takes you to La Gacilly, stop at Sixt-sur-Aff!

Above all, escape!

1 because we can't put zero.
Booking with our 2 children of 2 years and 6 months from 31/07 to 2/08.
We arrive on 31/07 and are greeted by a "Who are you?". (Not even a hello... OK...)
In fact Mrs. Dits Coraline was wrong in the booking.
We were allowed a mixture of bad times, insult, inhospitability, nonchalance and unprofessionalism!
In summary, his words are:
"Yes, I have you tomorrow and the day after"
"Just find something tonight and you'll be back tomorrow"
"But you're noodle, if I were you I'd have rushed off to find something"
And, the most beautiful: "You didn't tell me you were coming."
No apology for making the wrong booking!
No help to find another accommodation!
And initially refusal to refund us the payment made for the reservation, because according to her "it is not a question of money" (made later because we insisted heavily).
No hospitality: did not even offer us a glass of water, did not even offer us a place to change our children, did not even offer a place for me to breastfeed my baby.
So we ended up on the street in a city we don't know, at 8pm spent with our 2 children of 6 months and 2 years, because this person made the wrong booking.
Fortunately, we had help from other Chartrais who were also amazed when we told them our story.
Based on some comments, I note that we are not the only ones who have had problems with this person.

Par ou commencer? J'ai mis du temps à me décider à faire une réponse tellement cet avis dépasse l'entendement. Je ne vais pas me justifier point par point car tout est faux, à commencer par ma première phrase, qui a été:"Vous êtes Julie?". Vous avez immédiatement était redirigée vers le B&B de la Place Drouaise en qui j'ai toute confiance. Le remboursement était effectif moins de 5min après la réception de votre RIB (message à l'appui). En revanche, vous vous êtes imposée chez nous à plus de 20h, pendant près de 30min, totalement hystérique (tentative de pénétrer par un accès privatif, plantes saccagées, robinet d'eau extérieur ouvert à fond (vidéo à l'appui) devant vos enfants et le mien. Il n'avait jamais entendu quelqu'un me parler comme ça. Quand à moi, je ne dit jamais aucun gros mots et je suis restée très calme, c'est sûrement cela qui vous a déplu. Je suis restée bras croisés aux côtés de votre charmant mari, nous étions démunis face à votre attitude. Julie Caillierez a un vrai problème de self-control qui me paraît en décalage avec sa profession de médecin généraliste à Amiens. Au delà des dégâts matériels (une plainte est en cour), nous restons traumatisés par cette soirée et nous ne nous sentons plus en sécurité chez nous.

Ideal place to discover the city centre of Chartres

Nice old house and near the city center of Chartres. Spacious rooms even if the shower in the room may surprise in the rooms on the second floor. Very pretty house from the outside with small flowery courtyard. A varied and hearty breakfast.

An excellent establishment

Very friendly and warm welcome. Cute room with neat decorations. Restful and calm night and high quality bedding. I appreciated the provision of teas. At the gates of the old town. Hearty, high-quality, homemade breakfast. I highly recommend and would definitely return. THANKS

Le mini-golf est ouvert, la guinguette ouvre bientôt également et les Lumières dans la ville débutent le 13.04.2024! :) à bientôt,
