The room was spacious, quiet and warm. The dinner was really special. Limited menu but everything was superb as was the service and especially the dinning area. The breakfast was also very good.

The Auberge de l’Abbatiale is a wonderful small family run hotel with excellent accommodation in a historic and very interesting building. Very friendly owner and staff. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious. Thoroughly recommended as a stop off point while travelling through France as it is located in a picturesque historic village fairly close to an exit on the A31 (13 km away). Half way between Calais and the south of France.

Amazing food in a fabulous setting.

Staying at the local camp site in our Motorhome, we called by this amazing old building on our walk. We had a chat with the chef who was preparing tonight’s meal and he convinced us to book. We are so glad we did. The food & wine was exceptional. The setting beautiful. The waitress excellent. €45 each for the set menu and worth every penny (I mean euro). A great evening. We thanked the chef and walked back to the site less than 1,000m. Perfect. Merci Beaucoup

Worthwhile, wonderful and special

Special to stay in such a beautiful environment. 12th century building, decorated as much as possible in style. Our room was equipped with a state-of-the-art shower and toilet. Welcoming reception. Dinner in the beautiful dining room. Food was carefully and well prepared, no fine dining but just good and honest dishes.
It's definitely worth the price but every euro.
Chapeau for the hostess and host.

We spent a very comfortable night in this beautiful old property, that is full of history and charm. The dinner was excellent as was the bottle of local wine. The town looked charming although we had very little time to explore. Hopefully we will be back.
