Happy Guest

The staff was great, helpful & we had a easy/quick check in. The rooms were good for the price. Room seemed to be newly renovated. It had a fridge and microwave. Location is close to river Over all a great stay.

Overpriced for the area but not many hotel choices..

Shows it's age but is adequate for what you will find in the area. Barebones amemities and i think they were gouging me because TxDot was needing the rooms while working on the roads. IT WASN'T WORTH $96 A NIGHT!!! It's San Saba, not San Antonio for crying out loud!

Saw the room and left

Nobody was there when we tried to check in. Had to come try again a couple hours later. Cigarette burns in the comforter, blood and urine stains on the sheets, bath tub completely cracked. We sat in there for about 5 minutes til a flea jumped on my leg, then we were out. Found another place downtown that was much nicer. Brought the key back the next day and told the guy working what happened. He was real nice and said he’d tell the owner to take care of it. Still got charged. Owners refused to refund my money. Pictures below are of the sheets.

Just The Basics

Friendly reception upon arrival. Older property at the edge of town. Room with king bed, fridge w. freezer shelf and small microwave, dresser, comfy chair, table w. chair. Carpet and furniture well worn and stained. Walls had a few smushed bugs on them. Faucet improperly installed, ready to break loose, bathtub cracked and not draining well. Toilet did not drain at all. No security bolt or chain at door. No alarm clock or night desk lamp. Good coffee in the morning - no breakfast. Spent one night here - won't be back. This was the beginning of the hill-country hunting season and prices, as well as motel guests, were accordingly.

My first stay, and it was okay

The room was decent and the prices were fair, so I can't complain. It is a little run down with few rooms available downstairs, which I did not like. The desk clerk was friendly and helpful, so that made up for some of the shortcomings.
