Staff was friendly especially the concierge. Umbrellas and chairs available to take to the beach. Rooms were nice. Breakfast was good. The only negative - our room was above the restaurant and any movement of the chairs was unbelievably noisy. They need to invest in felt pads or something else to quiet the noise.

The hotel is clean, and the staff is friendly. The bed was one of the most uncomfortable beds I've ever slept in. We were only able to sleep a couple of hours a night because it was so bad. Even though the rest of the hotel is good, we would not stay there again because of the quality of the bed.

Good hotel and good location. They have a bar and restaurant on premises. There is someone there by the Front Desk twenty - four hours daily, so their nice little gym ought to be able to always be available to the guests, without closing at night .

Excellent Stay
We are regular customers of the Calipolis and our latest stay was for 6 nights in July. On this occasion we could not fault the hotel in any way. The facilities in the room were excellent and it was maintained spotlessly clean every day. The staff were friendly and helpful and the Calipolis continues to be our go-to hotel in Sitges. We did not use the dining facilities or the pool but we did have drinks in the bar which we enjoyed.

A bit disappointed
I have been coming to this hotel for18 years with no regrets but have been extremely dissatisfied this time. I booked over 10 months in advance requesting a higher level room with an ocean view. I arrived 3 hours early and had no problem waiting for what I requested. I ended up on the first floor with a view of the street, sidewalk and a glimpse of the ocean. I love Sitges but will be choosing another hotel next time with a more inexpensive price of $270 USD per night.

Our rooms are divided into different categories according to both their location and view. Standard rooms are situated on the lower floors, while Executive rooms are located on the higher floors. We also offer rooms with either a frontal or lateral sea view. Unfortunately, we do not have enough information in this review to check the exact category included in your reservation. During the high season, when occupancy is particularly high, rooms must be allocated according to the category booked. Requests such as a higher floor are always carefully noted, but they remain subject to availability unless the corresponding room category has been reserved.
For a future visit, we would recommend booking an Executive Front Sea View room, as this category guarantees both a higher-floor location and a direct view of the Mediterranean. Our reservations team would also be pleased to assist you personally in selecting the room that best meets your expectations.
