Agood overnight stop

Our room was small but comfortable, if rather dark. We were welcomed warmly and soon had our car parked in the yard behind the hostal. We never did manage to find out when the restaurant was open but there were plenty of places to eat close by.
The town centre was within easy walking distance and had a few fine buildings. It is a town that gets on with life and does not overly concentrate on tourism. It is surrounded by beautiful countryside largely covered in olive groves. We would go back.

Functional and Comfortable!

Booked in to this hostel in advance before moving to Osuna. Not knowing how long I'd be staying, the owner could not have been more helpful - allowing me to extend (and eventually leave early) without any fuss. I was originally provided a small, functional room but was quickly moved as it was pointed out the room was being redecorated. I was moved, at no extra cost, to a spacious double room.
The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was large - bigger than the rest of the room! It was a functional bathroom and the shower a bit slow but for the purpose and price it was absolutely fine.
The air conditioning will live with me for a long time - it had a phenomenal range and quickly covered the entire room - a life savour in the late Spanish Summer!
Location wise the hostel is also terrific, on the corner of Calle Granada and Calle Carrera, where many of the bars, shops and other services in Osuna are. There is a supermarket opposite too, which was very useful.
My only gripe is that the hostel restaurant, which promised local cuisine, was open just one night of my stay - and there was no indication of opening hours. This wasn't a major problem, however, as there are plenty of good bars and restaurants in the town.
In all an excellent stay and I would return without a doubt.

Nice little hostal

Quirky little place, a wee bit dowdy but nonetheless pretty comfortable. Easy to find and easy to park on the adjoining street despite it being mid town. Close to all recommended historic buildings Owner very pleasant, helpful and obliging. Evening meal was good if a trifle expensive.

A Decent Low Cost Hostel For Those Passing Through Osuna

My wife and I spent the night here a couple of years ago after a last minute decision to stay in Osuna overnight following an outing to Estepa.
Checking in was hassle free even though it was a last minute booking during Semana Santa. The rooms are small and we had a fellow guest that felt the need to shout down her mobile phone but that is not a fault of the Hotel.
The Rough Guide describes one of Caballo Blanco's dishes as 'gruel' but I searched in vain to find it when my wife and I sat down for lunch. I remember having a fine inexpensive meal which was perfectly up to scratch.
The hostal does provide parking for a small fee, although I found plenty of available on street parking nearby.
Osuna is well worth a visit and overnight stop. There are one or two grand hotels but for those on a more modest budget the Caballo Blanco is just fine and I would be happy to stay here again.

Sucio, abandonado, una ruina

Realmente, la peor expension de hostal en años. La habitacion tenia humedades, el bidet estaba sin agua, cerrado por estar roto, las paredes que se caía la pintura, tres camas en una habitacion doble justa, todo oxidado, viejo, una pena. Lo peor, sentirse robado por que hemos pagado 65€ cuando unos metros mas abajo o arriba por 15€ mas tienes 3 y 4 estrellas. Dejen de robar por favor y ajusten los precios a su realidad
