Very comfortable and peaceful stay. I had booked a standard room. It is small but good enough for a single person. The staff are very helpful.

Hotel very well located.

Hotel very well located near the Puerta del Sol, the Plaza Mayor.
We visited on foot:
the Palacio Real,
the Museo del Prado
the Museo de Arte Reina Sofia.
We arrived before the check-in time and we were able to get a room.
For checkout, there is luggage storage.
Decent breakfast.
Super staff.
Only downside: the soundproofing of the rooms (we could hear the neighbors' TV).

Brilliant centrally located Hostal

Great Hostal it was more like a hotel, staff were super friendly and it was located close to everything you could want, bars, restaurants and nightlife, i had a single room with shower, tv and all mod cons, lovely breakfast with hot and cold selections again staff were super friendly at breakfast i stayed for 4 nights and have booked again for next year

Fantastic experience

Obviously, the location is the must of this hotel: in the heart of the Barrio Las Letras, a lively neighborhood full of shops and clubs, 5 minutes from Puerta del Sol. We easily reached all the points of interest in Madrid on foot. The room was not very comfortable for three people but was clean, quiet, and well air-conditioned. Breakfast was varied for the sweet options, but the savory options need improvement. Courteous and helpful staff. The only small drawback is the lack of a fridge in the room, which is noticeable in the summer. Amazing value for money. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

We had an enjoyable 3 night stay. The reception and breakfast area are very nice and welcoming. Our room, though clean, was very basic. No fridge. Breakfast was outstanding for a 2 star hotel including freshly squeezed orange juice and very fresh fruit. The breakfast staff were outstanding and clearly enjoy their job. Great location, walkable to everywhere you would want to see as a tourist.
