Excellent value
The staff is great, really friendly and helpful. He is at your disposal and can even wash your clothes. He does everything to ensure that the place is calm and well maintained.
The kitchen is impeccable. Filtered water, herbal tea and coffee are available.
The beds are spacious and comfortable.
The bathroom is very functional, especially with the very large shower and hot water in the sink.

Perfect for couples or families!
We stayed here during my first trip to Ecuador and I couldn't have stayed at a better location. The entire place was spotless, and had all of the amenities we needed. Located centrally, we could walk every where. Staff is so friendly, they treated us like family. The rooms were great for our family of 5 with an adjoining room for our older kids.I can't wait to go back. You will not be disappointed here.

such a nice place!
I really enjoyed my stay in todos santos, people there are super sweet and friendly, they make you feel like family. they have a kitchen that you can use and the hostel is very central. sometimes they make movie nights in the cafe area.
it gets really cold as soon as the sun goes down, so make sure you have enough cloths to stay warm.

Great place to stay in Cuenca
If you are looking for a quiet and clean place in the center of Cuenca this is it. The staff is super friendly and helpful (although most of them only speak Spanish). It is not a fancy hotel but super economical and a great value for the price. I enjoyed my stay very much. There was everything I needed for a comfortable basic stay.

Perfect place for a respite!
My fiance and I stayed here for 3 nights in January 2014. We were actually originally planning to stay in Cuenca for only 2 nights, but once we saw this place, we decided to stay an extra night to take a break.
It was wonderful to stay here. It was VERY clean, with hot showers and a good water pressure. All private bathrooms en-suite. They even provided soap AND shampoo. And you can flush toilet paper down the toilets. If you stay at other hostels around Ecuador, you will soon find out that they tend to provide only soap, not shampoo, and the plumbing isn't always the most modern so you have to throw toilet paper away in the wastebasket (similar to what you find in some African and Asian countries).
We loved this place. It was our favorite out of the five different hostels that we stayed at during our three weeks in Ecuador. It's true that you can hear other people during the mornings if your bedroom is in the courtyard area, but that didn't bother us. There were a couple of other single travelers, but everyone was pretty quiet. I always sleep with ear plugs, as I am a very light sleeper, and I couldn't hear anything at all.
We paid $16 per person per night, and it was well worth it. It is easy to walk to the city center, where the main park and the museums are. It looks far from the city center in the Rough Guide city map, but it was actually only a five minute walk. These are short blocks, so everything is close to each other. Easy to flag a cab down, too.
What I also really liked about this place was that each guest got a key for the front door, so you didn't have to press the doorbell late at night to get in. The other hostels we stayed at didn't do this, so people coming in around midnight would have to ring the doorbell and wake everyone up. Since Posada Todos Santos gave everyone a front door key, no buzzer woke us up at all!
This was also the only place we stayed at where the WiFi signal was pretty strong, and we didn't have trouble with uploading photos or anything.
Breakfast consisted of two eggs cooked however you wanted, bread, jam, butter, instant coffee, and freshly-made juice. Can't complain. We were full. No amenities such as pool/fitness center, but we didn't need one. It's a hostel, not the Hilton. We just needed a clean, quiet place to sleep. It's about a block away from the river that flows through the city, so it was nice for us to just take a stroll along the river to get back to the hostel. Would highly recommend.
