Amazing

Clean, cozy and beautiful hotel! The owners are very hospitable and always help you to make your time in Canoa unforgettable. Peace and quiet in the hotel and in the room. Many activities and advice about the coast that the owners offer. A great hotel for a very affordable price

Not everything was rosy

I was traveling alone for the holiday and I made my reservation directly, I arrived at night so I asked the owner if he could pick me up, there was no awning in the room, the WiFi was turned off at night, I stayed 3 nights and I had to request to clean my room because they had not done it from the beginning, on the second and third night some girls came to play cards and drink until 11:30 and the noise they made did not allow me to rest; on the last day I had already told the owner of my departure time and he had offered to take me to the bus station, but his car keys magically "disappeared" just at that moment and he called me a taxi (which I paid for) it was a minimal run but he already He had promised to take me... I had my suitcase and two bags and although it was close and because of the drizzle that began to fall, I obviously needed transportation

Cozy little hostel with a great host!

The hostel is only a couple of minutes walk from where the bus stops and is a short distance from the beach. So you don’t have to be disturbed by the loud speakers from the beach bars.
The room was very nice, big bed, fresh bathroom and toilet. A fan was in the room as well, which was needed, at least for me.
Javier is a great host and is incredibly helpful with everything you need. He also speaks danish which was very fun since I’m Swedish so we had a good chat mixing Swedish,danish,English and Spanish.
Mariella made really nice breakfast for 5$ which was real hearty and sufficient for the whole day, including surfing.
I have only good things to say about this hostel and Javier. If you don’t want to be right on the beach this is the place to stay while in Canoa.

Rude owner!

I looked at the hostal in booking.com, but at the end I reserved directly with the owner for a price of $25 per night for two people.We wanted to stay Easter weekend there. At the end we did not even stay for one night. The owner was just rude! As it was a holiday weekend, he wanted to charge double when we arrived!

Cutest eco hostel in Canoa

The hostel is beautifully built, with rooms set over different floors.
There is a garden/courtyard and outdoor kitchen to chill in, as well as hammocks and tables dotted around.
The rooms are charming, clean, and the water is nice and hot.
Canoa is tiny so it is very close to everything!
