Great two night stay!

We stayed here for the nights when we first arrived in Cairo and enjoyed it very much! The location is super nice, as is the staff. Only tricky thing was to find the hostel, we had to ask people on the street for help which worked out fine too.
It’s a simple but very good hostel!

Fraud alert!

When I arrived, they told me I had to pay double the rates that I had booked. This is a form of fraud called bait and switch, which is illegal in many countries (not sure about Egypt). I left and found another place to stay.

BED BUGS!!!

As soon as we got there, they wanted to charge us triple the price than was on our booking confirmation. After reluctantly agreeing, we got to our room and there were BED BUGS crawling on the sheets!!! We immediately got our money back and left to somewhere better. The man at the desk was nice, but the hostel itself is terrible. And there is no sign on the street to help you find it.

Thanks a lot for the hospitality about Maggy! I felt always at my home. The place is comfortable and it’s in downtown,near the best restaurant and nightlife. The room are clean and there’s a good WiFi.

Best choice

I highly recommend the hostel, room is clean and shower is ok. Staff is helpful and friendly. No problems with the room mates, everyone treat each other with respect. For all who travels alone-Best for this price.
