Home away from Home.

A home away from homeThe apartment is located close to key attractions in Split, yet in a quiet street that is only a few minutes’ walk away from the harbour, ferry, cafes and restaurants.
The rooms were fully furnished, lovely decorated and meticulously cleaned. Everything was fresh, welcoming and prepared to perfection.
We even had fresh drinking water, juice and some lovely Croatian sweets awaiting us and Ana, the caring host, was in touch upon our arrival to ascertain, if anything was missing. All was perfect and I wish we had stayed longer in Split, and yes, we will return and are looking forward to staying again at Apartment Annya.

A great choice

For our week in Split we wanted an apartment close to the bus station and the old town area. This met the bill, and was also conveniently placed for the port and the city beach. I quickly discovered that it was only yards away from a local brewery. So, ideal location.
Potential customers should be aware that the apartments are not spacious; involve climbing a steep and quite narrow stair; and are in an old part of town with narrow streets - so limited views from the small windows. But none of this detracts from the excellence of the accommodation. The apartments are outstandingly clean and are very well equipped with everything you are likely to need.
But our abiding memory will be of the service provided by Ana, the owner. She arranged to meet us at the bus station to show us the best route and to help with our luggage: she facilitated the storage of our luggage on our departure day (to suit our late flight home); and she changed the bedding for us half-way through the week. We have stayed in many apartments over the years, but never have we seen such generous supplies of towels (and toilet rolls!). All kinds of extras were provided, not the least of which was a bottle of home-made sherry (Ana's mother's)
We had a lovely week in Split, enhanced by this accommodation.

One week stay on route to Hvar

We were met by Ana next to the bus station and taken to the apt it is up 2 flights of stairs highlighting the fact we had overpacked however Ana was extremely helpful with the luggage. The apt was small but cosy and the cleanest place we have ever stayed in, Ana was very informative about Split and where to visit and spent about 30 mins giving us advice.Ana had left us drinks in the fridge and tea coffee etc which was very thoughtful.The apt is 5 mins walk from the old city, the quayside and the bus station and ferries.Ana was only at the end of a phone but the apt was so well stocked we managed with no problems whatsoever. overall we were very impressed with the apt and the owner and wouldn't hesitate to return.

Idéalement situé et très confortable !

Ana a été très gentille et aimable, elle nous a même réservé une place de parking gratuite avec son propre véhicule (très difficile d'en trouver aussi près du centre-ville de Split !) et nous a aidé à porter nos affaires (5min à pied du parking). L'appartement est très bien équipé, très confortable et idéalement situé (moins de 5min à pied du centre historique). Pour information, il est également à côté de là où arrive le ferry (nous venions d'Hvar). Il y avait également des boissons au frais (jus, eau, bière) et quelques confiseries offertes. Thank you so much Ana for your welcome !
