Excellent stay in Val-David
As part of our four day P’tit Train du Nord bike ride we chose Oberge Inn as our final stop. Our room was comfortable and well equipped with a kitchenette. It had nice view over the riverside property. Our host was very friendly, we appreciated using the common kitchen and the outdoor lounging areas and bonfire to spend time with the couple we were travelling with and to meet the other guests. Although we did not use it, there is a small beach area for swimming and kayaking. The Inn is easily accessible from the bike path and has a secure area to store your bikes. Walking into centre of Val-David was a short stroll over a little bride on the Rivière du Nord.

nice modern well equipped hotel
stayed for several nights. Room was modern, clean, tidy and well equipped. Hosts were excellent, friendly and informative. Nice and easy 10 minute walk into the village across a pedestrian bridge over the river. Outside river bank facilities looked excellent but were not being used when I was staying. Very pleased with my stay and happy to recommend.

Don't own a cottage, stay here.
We had an absolutely lovely three day stay with Guy and Julianne. We are an active senior couple. The Oberge Inn was exactly as advertised. It is an Inn, not a hotel for those expecting daily room service, a front desk and a TV ( though there was one in the common area) . It was secure, clean, well outfitted including WIFI and in a quiet setting in the woods. Guy quickly responded to questions prior to booking and communicated that our reservation was received and confirmed. The property was more than expected with a number of outdoor areas for relaxation or activities. What was not included in their description was that there was a small beach access to the river, which others seemed to enjoy, and night bonfires that Guy was glad to light up for the asking. We were happy with the 10 minute stroll into town but it would not be totally accessible if that was one of your needs. For cyclists and skiers, we are neither, there appeared to be secure areas for your needs.

Wonderful home away from home
Great, informal place with lake access for easy swimming, a fully equipped kitchen for cooking, comfy rooms, spacious grounds with games, as well as indoor games in the spacious kitchen and dinning room, so very child friendly. Great hospitality by the host and hostess. Nightly bonfires around which people tend to gather. The host plays the guitar while people sing! French-Canadian warmth. Bikes, kayaks and canoes on hire. Within walking distance of Val David's attractions. This artsy town which does not have a commercial vibe (yeh!) is well worth a visit.

What happiness!
The service is excellent.
The place is beautiful, wooded, riverside, games, hammocks, pétanque, sun loungers and outdoor dining tables as well as BBQ are available at all times. In addition, we can rent canoes, paddles, kayaks and navigate the river directly from their small beach.
We go as often as possible, the welcome is always warm!
