Perfect little room:)

The hotel is located right on the Plains Rd in Burlington, It is the cutest little room. The room is so clean, smells really nice. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room contains A/C a plus in this weather. microwave, mini fridge all comforts of home. Perfect when your travelling in Burlington, you are close to everything, mall is just down the road and lots of eateries too. Really great value for the money in this day and age.

Gross.

Very rude staff. Room smelled funny. Sheets were stained. Shower made an aweful screeching noise, as did the exhaust fan...not very relaxing. Oh, don't forget the bug bites by the next morning. A perfect parting gift for a terrible stay. Don't go here. Spend an extra couple bucks and avoid feeling gross.

When asking for help with Wi-Fi goes wrong

Was looking for a quiet night after a stressful week at work.
From check in to check out this place missed the mark on providing that.
Reception was rude to my wife who booked me the room. I mean, how many times do you have to say you're a non smoker. Upon my arrival to the room I wondered what the big deal about smoking was, a burnt cigarette would have improved the overall smell of the room. The stink of mould was awful and the linens and comforters clearly hadn't been cleaned in a while. The comforters were filthy and carpets weren't great either.
Heck, even some Febreeze would likely help.
Then came the Wi-Fi.

Seems pretty easy. Only it's not. Because that's not the password. The front desk will tell you it is. They'll tell you you're doing it wrong. They'll spell Royal for you... slowly. Then, when you get frustrated after the 3rd call, they say they are calling the police.
Spent the remainder of the evening waiting for a knock on the door.
Thanks for the Royal treatment.

Horrible

The owner let me check in with my friend and brother that I came to visit halfway between our cities. He wanted cash and refused to give me a receipt. He then kicked us out one hour later telling us we were going in and out of our room too much. He refused to return my money which was $200. $100 for the room and a $100 deposit. I called the police. The officer was only able to get $ 100 back only and a receipt. I was then questioned by a second officer. It was the worst hotel experience of my life. Revenue Canada should look into why this owner deals in cash with no receipts. All other hotels were booked in the area and I had no where to go.

A welcome place to catch some sleep after a difficult night.

The room was clean, and nicely appointed for a small roadside motel. I won't go into the details of our night, but we flew into town at 4am! Our hotel had given up our reservation, and two others wouldn't answer the door. This hotel owner, groggy and confused, gave us a room at a decent rate.
Now this is a small, family run, roadside motel, Don't expect the Ritz! Beds were comfy, room was set up nice, and the bathroom was obviously reno'd lately. There really is nothing to complain about if you need a nice, safe, comfy sleep.
