Soft and pleasant

Despite the ongoing work to renovate the breakfast area, we were able to enjoy all the facilities, including the pool at the end of the day after our various excursions. The apartments and suites are very comfortable and pleasant. The buildings facing each other allow for a gentler breeze and a magnificent setting with this small garden in the middle.

Great hosting

We loved staying in Jericoacoara, it was very worth it.
The guesthouse is quite rustic, but has a structure that meets all needs, the pool is good and cleaned daily. The breakfast is delicious, the only point that disappointed us was the small space for coffee, but taking that out was all great.

Disappointing

Our experience at Pousada Unkué was disappointing. The team showed little willingness to solve basic problems, such as the room shower, which alternated between very hot and very cold water, with no solution offered. The tap was also poorly tuned, draining water and wet the sink and mirror. The Room Service was negligent: they did not change towels, did not clean the floor and did not return toilet paper, which we had to request at the reception.
The room was in the bottom of the guesthouse, in a clearly poorly cared for area, reinforcing the despair. The breakfast, although with suitable options, is served in a small space, with few tables, generating wait, difficulty in circulation and the need to arrive early, as the foods run out quickly. The approach of the staff with questions like “have you finished?” generated embarrassment, and the kitchen staff was not very friendly.
There was also a failure in the Transfer Service: the guesthouse marked the wrong return date and changed the previously agreed time, causing disruption and stress. The guesthouse has potential, but poor management and lack of attention to detail seriously compromise the experience.

There was a little more empathy.

Very nice place, excellent service, wonderful breakfast, but they delivered me as a double suite two single beds leaving me uncomfortable to enjoy the weekend with my wife. And they did not give a suitable discount to somehow compensate for our well-being and rest together.
