Beautiful resort right on beach

Beautiful hotel right on an amazing beach. Rooms were clean and staff was very friendly. On site restaurant and bar has good food offerings at reasonable prices. Supermarket nd bus stop available easy walk from resort. Remember this is an island resort. Expect some bugs, peeling finishes, etc... due to humidity, but overall very clean and well kept.

The amazing thing is the balcony with every room. The broad view of Atlantic ocean is wonderful. The private beach is splendid for a great vacation. As I am a non alcoholic so can't say much about Bar items but they offered one time drink and I took a fruit punch. That tastes good. Rooms are cleaned, staffs are courteous. Wonderful swimming pool. Public transport is in walkable distance, that is very useful to explore the island in cheap rate.

Overall we had a lovely experience, although it probably needs a little bit of a facelift.
The property was beautiful it was basically like having your own private beach. Our room was updated and clean but the outdoor furniture could have used an upgrade. The restaurant was great and always open and the restaurant staff was accommodating.
We had problems getting beach towels and water in the room (it’s a long walk to the store so they would have been nice to have) but all that was minor.

Go Visit Bermuda

We spent a wonderful week at the resort in June. The rooms were very clean and the rooms staff were helpful. The beach was amazing and the views from our room were great. We really enjoyed being able to sit outside in our own private space. The food in the restaurant was delicious and the staff very accommodating of all requests. We were close to things and used the taxi app Hitched, which worked out great. Yes the resort is a little older but it was a great location for us.

There were pros, but bigger cons.
Pros:
- Restaurant staff were great, very friendly.
- The beach was beautiful and we had a great view from our room.
Cons:
- On the first day, we were told we were going to have to move to a different room on the second day. The second room was worse, and the story for why didn’t stack up. They were then very slow and late at actually moving us, restricting our ability to do what we wanted. Nothing was offered to us as compensation until I asked what we’d received on return given you would never expect to be moved rooms part way through the holiday. Later they gave us a free breakfast to compensated.
- The aircon in the new room rattled loudly. You had to wear earplugs in order to sleep. We asked for it to be looked at but it wasn’t.
- They tried to overcharge us by $50 per night by including a higher nightly rate than was agreed upon booking. Make sure you check your bill in detail and compare to what you expect.
- The bar on the beach wasn’t open. This wasn’t an issue, but there was one member of staff taking drink orders but he only seemed to go to a few people. No clear logic on who he was going to but it definitely wasn’t everyone on the beach.
