Este histórico hotel de 4 estrelas, com gerência familiar há mais de 1 século, está situado perto da Igreja Votiva e de um pequeno parque, a uma curta caminhada da Avenida Ringstrasse e da Universidade de Viena.

Old world charm
Great clean room.
Perfect location.

All the hotel looks like your old relative mansion.

One-time booking - but certainly not again.
The room reserved for me was specifically not facing the inner courtyard, but rather the street. I could have saved myself the trouble of having my reservation spontaneously switched to an inner courtyard room. That is not an inner courtyard, which is advertised so nicely on the website, but the absolute worst and dirtiest room I have ever been assigned in a hotel. In the morning, I drank a (very good) cappuccino on the terrace and then went to pay. I expressed my displeasure politely; however, that didn't accomplish anything - even the coffee was charged...
Unfortunately, the entire hotel has seen better days, no longer meets modern 4-star standards, and the friendliness of the staff could also use some work. However, since no one was actually unfriendly, there are two points instead of just one.
Anyone who reads my reviews knows that I write good reviews at best, but this view was simply too much. Sorry, but not like this.

Unplanned stay
Negatives
- the air con / heating did not work
- they only supply 1 pillow per person.
- the towels to dry your body are like hand towels.
- you have to pay for coffee in your room
- breakfast , some of the guests were like animals with the buffet there was not enough buffet for all the guests , especially during the weekend days.
- there is 1 English speaking channel
- a double room is in-fact 2 twin beds
- reception staff are much more attentive to German residents
Positives
The hotel is a 20 min walk from the main town and located pretty close to the U3 underground and a tram station.
There are some nice restaurants close by.

First of all, we are truly sorry that your stay with us began with the inconvenience of being moved from our sister hotel, the Graben Hotel – we understand that this was certainly not the start to your Vienna visit you had expected. We are also sorry that several aspects of your stay at the Hotel Regina, especially the room comfort, breakfast experience and the impression at reception, did not meet your expectations. We appreciate that you nevertheless highlighted our location and the nearby restaurants, and we sincerely hope we may have the opportunity to welcome you again under better circumstances.
