Great central place to stay.

This hotel is perfect for visiting Vienna, it's very central to all sites. The hotel is clean throughout. The beds are very comfy and the pillows are amazing . Breakfast was great with lots on offer. We had hired a car, they gave us access to a private garage (17€ a night but well worth it ) The staff are truly great, they are very helpful and friendly. I am surprised this hotel is a 3* it deserves more. We had a great stay, I recommend Hotel Caroline.

When I made this reservation I made sure the hotel had AC. And that what it says in the description. When we got there the AC was not working inside the room was 28C - 82 F. We called the reception and they came to check and told us that it was working and to open the windows to get better results. The room never cool down. We slept very little. It was too hot to be able to sleep and rest. Also the bathroom big window was facing towards inside the room so if you were taking a shower you can be seen from the other side of your room. If your are traveling with your children not a good experience. The following day we requested if we could be move to another room. They gave us another room and something the AC did not work. I told them that it was just as hot as the other room, but they did not do anything. I would not recommend this hotel especially if your traveling in the summer months at all.

Beautifully clean, a fantastic and rich breakfast, and above all, incredibly sweet and helpful staff. It makes you feel right at home. I would absolutely love to come back again!

Recommended hotel

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights, we had a triple room with 3 large beds (a rarity), a walk-in closet, and a large bathroom. The breakfast is abundant and varied, sweet and savory, friendly and helpful staff. Hotel convenient for visiting Vienna, bus stop in front of the hotel and U1 metro about 300 meters away, good value for money.....recommended!

Friendly check-in and easy access to public transport. Basic breakfast; it would be nice if there are melon fruits for the hot weather.
Spacious room. Reported to staff that the aircon is leaking water on the floor. Bathroom is hot because the radiator is still warm while it has turned off.
