A really nice family room. Apartments are not easy to find, you need to go into a large doorway and a tiny, not very obvious lift takes you up to the second room. Once you find it, it's really good inside! Good room facilities and in an excellent location. The drive in is slightly intimidating as you feel a bit like you should be driving in that bit of the city, but apparently you can!

We arrived yesterday afternoon to the hotel during staffed reception hours. Firstly after getting out the lift the code which was supplied to us for ‘check in instructions’ didn’t even open the front door lock. The doorbell wasn’t charged so we couldn’t even ring for help. We paid on our phones to phone the number hung up on the wall and it didn’t get answered.
Eventually after 10 minutes of trying and my friends going downstairs to the opera place to ask for a number, one or the workers spoke to me through a camera with the code which didn’t even meet what I was issued with.
We then got in and they spoke to us via another camera - but, the code they kept telling us to use on the smart door lock didn’t work despite multiple attempts and the card was in the room. After remotely opening it (I assume from app when speaking to us) we got in.
The room was great and clean, but there were drain issues as the bathroom smelt really bad and the shower leaked and flooded the room (which we reported to the owners and highlighted).
On the final day we left luggage in the storage which isn’t in a locked area, and we checked in as we were checking out. The gentleman was helpful, smiley and friendly after highlighting the shower issue. But it didn’t help he told us that the reception was being manned as we tried to get in.

Amazing location! Right in the centre of Vienna.
Room was lovely with a great view.
Mini fridge and coffee machine great. Air-con worked really well.
It was a slightly strange set-up though. We missed the hotel initially as it’s on the 2nd floor of what appears to be an office block with a concert hall on the ground floor. There was a tiny sign outside. Lift up to second floor was a bit scary! The receptionist is available 8.30-1800. Receptionist was extremely helpful and showed us to our room and how to access it. After reception is closed access is via key card only.
We found it to be extremely good value for money and would definitely return.

The facilities and customer service are quite problematic.
My husband and I stayed at this hotel in August.
It was extremely hot outside, but the air conditioner in our room was broken, and although we didn't have a thermometer, I don't know the exact temperature, but I think it was probably around 30°C.
The front desk staff were mostly absent, so I emailed the owner to request repairs, but received a reply saying, "Is a broken air conditioner such a big deal? 20% of hotels in Vienna don't have air conditioning."
The website clearly stated that there was air conditioning. They suggested, "Why don't you open the window?" so I tried opening it, but hot air blew in.
I finally got through to them on the phone, but the owner hung up on me mid-conversation.
It seemed there were other rooms available, but they wouldn't change our room.
It was so hot all night that I became ill, so
For our last night, I found and booked another hotel myself and checked out, but they refused to refund or reduce the price for the last night.
This hotel occupies the fourth floor of a building, but the elevator was broken. The hotel staff explained, "This elevator sometimes works, sometimes doesn't work, and now it's not working," but it never worked even once during my stay.
The floors up to the 4th floor house other venues like concert halls, so the ceilings are high. Because of this, the journey to the hotel on the 4th floor involves a long flight of 80 steps.
Climbing such a long flight of stairs with a heavy suitcase is incredibly difficult.
The staff offered no assistance, and even for a strong man, it's extremely difficult. If you're a woman traveling alone, even with a reservation, it's probably impossible to reach the hotel entrance.
This hotel had significant problems with its facilities and service, making for a very disappointing trip. I chose this hotel after reading positive reviews, but what were those positive reviews all about? I don't particularly like writing reviews, so I've never written one before, but I decided to write this review for the sake of future travelers looking for hotels.
I wish they would be more honest on their website and treat travelers in need with integrity.

The “hotel” is a collection of rooms on the 3rd floor of an old building. There is no one there to help you if you have an issue outside of the hours when the reception desk is staffed. The air conditioning system in our room would only blow barely cool air, which was pointed toward the door, not at all near the beds. It was stiflingly hot, and I barely slept. The management was not at all helpful when I shared my concerns. I would not recommend to anyone to stay here, as other travelers emerging from their rooms also reported the same situation of nonfunctional air conditioning.
