Ideal for our visit to relatives....

We have relatives in Forchtenstein and since the selection of bed and breakfasts in this area is not great, the Hotel Müllner is a good choice. The room was spacious and quiet, we slept well, a bit annoying was just the relatively loud and long-lasting ventilation in the toilet. The breakfast is rich. Parking spaces are sufficient. The hotel has also attached a restaurant, but we can't judge.
There you can best fix the keycard for the room.
Attention: The sat nav directs you (when entering Hotel Müllner Mattersburg) to the restaurant. The hotel entrance is spacious right around the block. So don't unload luggage completely at the restaurant.
We will definitely come back.

Lively pub gastronomy

This restaurant is a flagship of its guild and a ray of hope in the culinary desert all around. Good traditional cuisine is presented here with diligence and a professional approach. I always enjoy coming to this restaurant. The host always has an open ear, almost at any time of day or night.

Pleasant little hotel restaurant

We stayed in this family-owned and managed hotel for one night.
The property appears to have been recently renovated, inside it is quite modern.
The rooms are up one flight of stairs (no elevator). Everything is clean, the beds comfortable and the shower worked fine.
We had dinner; the menu is typical Austrian country fare, with a Hungarian influence. The house wine at 2 Euro/glass was excellent, as was the food.
The service was brisk and efficient, but not especially friendly.
The breakfast was a bit disappointing, for instance the juice was so watery it had no taste. And the selection was poor.
There is lots of convenient parking in back.

hotel not taking care of customers

We stayed at this hotel for three nights- far away from Vienna. Rooms are good and hotel is in lap of nature but the rest services are very poor. Staff is very discourteous, breakfast is very poor- not even cornflakes. No hot milk but water added milk. No toaster, no fresh fruits. For we vegetarian people it was just starving. Neat place, bathrooms were of good size but flies were there in rooms as well as in breakfast hall.These poor services were because of ETM Global Limited Lift was also making noise.

Only hotel in Marz but good quality

The rooms of the hotel are clean and fulfilling the needs for a stay during a business trip. So far I had always rooms in the new part of the hotel and the rooms are very quiet. No mini bar in the rooms!
The quality of the breakfast has reduced during the last years. In Austria I would expect fresh bread rolls in the morning but the ones offered were very chewy. Besides the breakfast, the food in the restaurant is ok. Most of the staff is a little bit unfriendly.
