Outside Vienna, but the calm is worth it.

Stayed here as part of a school group, and had a great experience. Jetlagged arrival and slept like a baby. Quiet rooms. Comfortable beds. The hotel was fantastic for a school group. And the breakfast! Hands down the best eggs we had this trip. Farm fresh breakfast makes a difference

Good hotel for convenient sight seeing

Ideally situated next to the archeological sites is a good choice if you want to do sightseeing in this area. Rooms were clean, restaurant was pretty good. Elevator and rooms are relatively small, but the breakfast had a good variety, so no complaints here. Apart from the usual single and doubles the hotel also features 4 bed room. Parking is also available. Unfortunately no AC which may be a problem at certain travel times.
All in all a very convenient hotel for families.

Not had a good experience

Hotel stinks! There's no air conditioning. Rooms were very warm. Windows could open, but only a window had a screen. And there wasn't even decent air coming in. You do get two fans in your room, but they only circulate the warm air in the room.
I didn't feel very welcome. At the reception staff was very short. No hi or anything.

Absolutely recommendable accommodation

We had a really nice time at the Hotel Marc Aurel in Petronell Carnuntum. The people at the hotel are exceptionally friendly, accommodating, uncomplicated, and yet professional and reserved. The rooms are clean, modern, pleasantly designed, with all the comfort that this category offers. Really more than okay. The location of the hotel is also very convenient, both for those passing through and for visitors to all the former Roman sites, as well as the beautifully designed Roman Park Carnuntum. Lastly, the breakfast buffet, which costs extra if you choose to have it, is worth every cent. We were impressed by the abundance of what was offered and, even more so, by the good quality of the food (which is not a given with such a large selection in this category of hotel... quantity often takes precedence over quality there). The in-house restaurant also offers very well-prepared food, good wine, and, again, very friendly, professional service, which we were able to see for ourselves. All in all, a truly recommendable place to stay! Thank you and, please, stay as great as you are. All the best for the future!

Good location and good value for money

Overall good experience with good quality food, clean and in a good location for exploring the surroundings. Need a car as it is the most convenient way to reach it. It was a bit noisy and did not have A/C facilities but had a balcony.
