Time out high 10,only recommended

Always a wonderful experience. Eerily great hosts. Clean rooms, great room service (cleaning), breakfast varied and very sufficient. Place Starting point for many activities (Wilder Kaiser, Zillertal etc.

Nice country side villa

I enjoyed the stay at the Angererhof house especially the nice breakfast with fresh eggs and Goat's cheese from the farm. Was a wonderful winter experience (skiing slopes are 10-15 min away from the villa). Hosts are very nice.
I would go back there again!

Charming family,neat room excellent breakfast

We stayed overnight,we dropped off our bag at lunchtime,we were shown to a comfortable double aspect room,very clean and well thought out. We returned late in the evening and let ourselves in. An excellent nights sleep in a quiet village.
Breakfast was more than ample, "eggs from happy chickens", a large plate of cold meats and fresh cheese,fresh rolls,delicious jams and honey.hot strong coffee. Overall excellent value for two people at seventy euros.
A large garden on two sides with raised vegetable beds and a very cheerful family,what not to like?

Reasonable accommodation

We stayed here for 3 nights with another family. For Eur 50 / room a night including breakfast, it was quite alright. Not much of a farm if you are looking for fields or a barnyard full of animals (we only saw goats) or farm activities for children. They do have a farm shop with has organic products. The family / staff was very friendly. For breakfast, they had a reasonable spread. Eggs (made to order), breads, spreads, muesli, juice, coffee.. Rooms were comfortable. We also used the small kitchen (no stove, but they have a microwave, vessels, cutlery) in the common breakfast area to prepare a small dinner on one of the nights. For the kids, they have a small yard with a swing and a sand pit and several stuffed animal toys. We were looking a bit late in the season and really keen on a farm stay in Tyrol / Sud Tyrol. Bio Angererhof gets the job done. But if you are looking for a "real farm experience", you can do better by searching well in advance as August is a particularly busy time in Germany/Austria. Kids have the entire month of August off so holidays are planned well in advance. The surrounding area (Kufstein Family Holiday Region, they call it) is beautiful and offers lots to do for children. While we were there, we took the kids for a toboggan run in Kufstein which I greatly recommend. They also had a play area for kids (trampoline, swings etc) and the view of Walchsee from the chairlift was superb. We also spent an afternoon at Lake Hechtsee which was one of the loveliest afternoons of our trip. Ideal for kids with a large play area and natural swimming pool. Our kids enjoyed it immensely. We drove down to South Tyrol (Merano) another day and the drive was simply breathtaking. Salzburg is also a drive away and we did a day trip on our third day here.

Sehr gemütliche Unterkunft, in der Nähe vom Skigebiet Wilder Kaiser

Wir haben 5 Nächte mit Frühstück in einem Doppelzimmer verbracht, für ca. 400€.
Das Zimmer war sehr sehr sauber und das Bett sehr bequem. Beim Frühstück gab es alles, was wir brauchten, die Produkte waren größtenteils aus eigener Herstellung, bzw. dem eigenen Hofladen.
Der Angererhof ist ein Ziegenhof. Bei Interesse kann der Stall besichtigt werden. Die süßen Kitze kann man jederzeit streicheln, da das Gatter direkt vorne am Eingang ist und die Tiere dauerhaft draußen.
Mit dem Auto kann man das Skigebiet „Wilder Kaiser“ gut erreichen. Nach Itter sind es ca. 10 Minuten, nach Westendorf ca. 20. Für Familien und Paare, die günstig und gut übernachten wollen, ist der Angererhof in jedem Fall eine gute Möglichkeit!
