They know what they're doing!
There are two restaurants: The lion and the origin. The lion is the "normal" and the origin the star restaurant. Even in the lion, the components and subtleties of a really loving and extremely good cuisine can be tasted. That's really good! Very seasonal, 100% handmade and fantastically tasted and arranged.
The whole hotel is apparently run and lived according to the demands of a fine, loving and perfectionist cuisine with a real host soul.
But what then the breakfast provides us is incredible in my opinion. Fruit/vegetable bar to squeeze fresh juices for yourself, regional cheese and ham, small patties, nice breads and a fine yeast braid, lots of cereals (apparently partly homemade)... unfortunately a bit dry croissants (moaning at a very high level).
But the breakfast eggs were then absolutely madness! Poached egg with cheese mousse, watercress, fine, small refined components. The ham and cheese toast with fried egg has nothing to do with a normal toast with egg. This is so incredibly lovingly and extremely deliciously prepared that I had to go to the kitchen to thank you for it! On this day Julia has the eggs prepared a little chatter from the sewing box. For example, that the oils are made with the seasonal herbs themselves, what influence the timing and loving preparation of a supposedly simple dish such as a poached egg have on how the components come together at the right time. Sounds a bit exuberant, but since then I prepare eggs and oils differently and much more lovingly. That really inspired me! THANK YOU !!!

The friendly and helpful staff is especially noteworthy.
Very tasty was also the mega dinner ==> so we will come back.

All around a successful stay except for
We ate very well, the breakfast was wonderful, the poached egg “the slam dunk” Gladly we come back.
What we didn't like was:
We wanted an extra portion of chanterelles with our main courses, which was not possible.
The inflated drinks prices, e.g. a bottle of water 7.50, espresso 3.80, dopp. Espr. 5,90….
