Great hotel in Wernigerode

Ringhotel Weisser Hirsch is a great hotel located directly I the Altstadt center by the city square. An old hotel with typical German charm. They have a great restaurant which also double up as breakfast area. The rooms are clean and large. This was my second time here in two years, and luckily, we got the same room this year as last year. The room was large with a minibar and a huge bath. Nice views back on the mountain and castle behind the city. All of the staff we communicated with was great! Not the cheapest hotel in Wernigerode, but the value for your money is great.
Can also mention that they have their own parking directly beside the hotel.

If Wernigerode, then only Hotel Weisser Hirsch.

We were in Wernigerode for two days with an acquaintance. We had booked a classic double room, but received an upgrade to a comfort room. The room was probably newly renovated and beautiful. The bathroom was also very large with a walk-in shower and sufficient storage space. Small details like coat hooks, which are missing in many hotels, were also thought of. The bathroom had a normal wooden door and not a glass sliding door, as in many hotels (they always have a gap and you hear every noise). We were able to park our SUV comfortably for EUR 13 per day on the parking deck located above the underground garage. I did take a look at the underground garage, though. For my taste, the parking spaces here were too tight for larger cars compared to the parking deck. That is perhaps the only disadvantage of this hotel.
The staff was very friendly throughout. We found the interior design of the hotel, especially the restaurant/breakfast area, very beautiful and all areas of the hotel were very clean.
The breakfast was very, very good. In addition to the usual types of cheese/sausage, there were also fried eggs, bacon, small meatballs/sausages, and salmon, among other things.
The location of the hotel could not be better, right on the market square. You can sit wonderfully on the terrace right on the market square. Wonderful.
Conclusion: Beautiful hotel in a prime location. Wernigerode is also a beautiful small town and definitely worth a visit.

Great again

Comes here often and it is still for us the best hotel in Harzen. The Wieland family does everything to ensure that all guests have a good experience. Nice rooms, competent staff and wonderful food in the restaurant. We’ve been here for many years and we’ll continue to do so. Best hotel in Harzen.

Pleasant with some limitations

Very clean, fresh, well maintained, comfortable large room w/desk/chair, cold minibar(no coffee or tea), two upholstered chairs and side table in our classic double room. Electric outlets on both sides of bed. Quality breakfast with plenty of variety. Pleasant staff w/ modest but sufficient English. On market square, convenient to food, shopping. Walkable to train. Some accessible rooms. Hotel connects several buildings and there are 3 or 4 steps at points along the corridor. Rooms 301-307 require ascending a full flight of stairs. Be sure to check with hotel if you have mobility issues. Suggestion for hotel mgt: Keurig style coffee/tea in room, or in lobby would be a plus.

Great hotel with nice service; the underground garage for cars and motorcycles is conveniently located in the center, making everything easily accessible. A very clean hotel with friendly staff.
