Great service

We unfortunately had to cancel at very short notice for the coming weekend, as extreme storms with snow and storm are trending
Fürstenhof has granted us free cancellation under the circumstances

Great view

We booked this appartment 404 which was on the highest fllor and just facing sea-front...
Huge balcony, nice living room, kitchenette, bathroom standard. Nice to stay for a couple of nights and quiet.
Parking place for the car in the underground-parking, lift and everything you need.

Very nice apartment, wonderful view

The apartment for up to 5 people is spacious and comfortable. There is only one toilet/bathroom, so I would not recommend it for more than 3 people. The highlight is the big balcony with a wonderful view on the sea. There is a lift in the buidling. The apartment is only 5 minutes walk to the restaurants located on the promenade. You can have breakfast at Rügen hotel, which you can reach by walking 15-20 minutes. For the guests of Fürstenhof there is a discount on breakfast, so you pay 6 euros per person instead of 10 euros. Breakfast is quite good, with a lot of choice, and you have a nice view on the sea as well (the restaurant is located on the 9th floor). On foot it takes 20-25 minutes to reach the train and bus station, so you may want to take a taxi, especially if you have a lot of luggage. There is a Rewe supermarket close to the station or a Netto supermarket 10-15 minutes from the Fürstenhof.

Perfekter Blick

Wohnung im 3. Stock; perfekte Aussicht. Ausstattung in Ordnung, könnte mehr haben. Wohnung hat keinen einheitlichen Stil, liegt aber perfekt wenn man tagsüber unterwegs ist und nur morgens und abends dort zeit verbringt.

Blick ist nicht alles

Zugegeben ist der Blick auf die Ostsee grandios. Über das Vermietbüro in Sassnitz erhielten wir eine Buchungsbestätigung mit zugesicherten Wlan (als Eigenschaft und nicht als freiwillige, zusätzliche Leistung). Dieses gab es auch auf Nachfrage nicht und ein Ersatz wurde nicht zur Verfügung gestellt.
Im telefonischen Vorgespräch ( einen Tag vor Anreise) sowie bei der Restzahlung im Vermietbüro wurden das fehlende Wlan genauso wenig erwähnt wie die im Haus über längere Zeit stattfindenden Bauarbeiten in einem anderen Apartment. Dies erfuhren wir erst durch einen Aushang in der Tiefgarage deren Tor ebenfalls defekt war. Die Agentur meinte dazu, dass es ja in einer anderen Etage Bauarbeiten gäbe und nicht in unserer. Wlan gäbe es schon länger nicht mehr. Der Besitzer wüsste Bescheid. Der Einsatz von Maschinen war von der ersten bis in die vierte Etage gut hörbar. Zumal das Haus recht hellhörig ist.
Die Matratzen sind mittlerweile sehr weich und für unsere Begriffe durchgelegen. Die "Innereien" sind mit der Hand gut ertastbar. Rückenschmerzen waren die Folge.
Zugluftempfindliche sollten in der kälteren Jahreszeit aufpassen. Durch die geschlossene BalkonTür zieht es bei Wind gewaltig.
