Nice hotel - fair price

The place was small but nice. Rooms was large. The hotel was clean. Good and very frindly service and breakfast with homebaked bread. We stayed one night 2 adults and 3 small children. Good value for money.

our room was good. we were there 4 days. nice breakfast. easy reservation. Miss voss & Nushin were very kind & helpful. Most of their customers are worker & at night no body is there, but Hotel is safe( i coudnt leave my two sons in the room). telephon in room is very expensive(12 euro for 2 min). we leaved our suitcase in room until 6 p.m without charge mony. hotel is far from city center, but you can go to INI 15 min by walk & zoo 30 min by walk in a very beautiful road. we paid for every night 99 Euro. Shampoo & soap wasnt enough for us. you can go to city center by bus or taxi. Taxi was expensive. Thanks for all things NUSHIN.

off-center, but ok

I recently needed to book a hotel in Hannover, not a an easy task if you happen to go during the Hanover-Fair. i booked about one month ahead of the exhibition, but by that time most hotels in town were already fully booked out. So I found this one, which offered relatively competitive prices, at € 125.-- a night for a single room. The hotel is far away from the center. I took a taxi from the center, and payed nearly € 30.-- to get there. It's however also possible to reach it with public transport, as 3 tramway lines serve a station which is about 400 meters (yards) away from the hotel. There is not much around the hotel, as it's rather a residential zone. I spotted however a restaurant about 200 m away from the hotel, in case you need a meal, as the hotel has no own restaurant.
First of all: you don't really have the impression having steped into a hotel when you enter the Eilenriede hotel. It's rather a feeling like you've been invited to sleep in the house of your good aunty Mary, and she prepared a room for you. Well, everything is there, but is at the same time a bit aged. The tv is still a good old tube television, the whole decor is like in a private house. I saw some other rooms when the doors've been left open for cleaning, and basically every room looked a bit different. The hotel is not large, I don't know how many rooms they have, but I guess it's not more than a good dozen or 15. Recovering from a flu, I stayed rather long in the room after the exhibition, and I must say it was mostly calm. There's no sound from the road, and the only thing I heard occasionally were neighbours arriving or departing. The bathroom was tiny, I don't think I could have stood in front of the sink, if the door was closed. The bathroom featured a shower.
I had breakfast in the hotel, and it was ok. Not that much to choose from, but I'm anyway not a big eater in the morning.
So the overall verdict is: it was clean, I slept well, but given a choice I would anyway rather prefer to be in the center, if I could.

Der Gast als Bittsteller ?

Bedingt durch ein privates Unglück waren wir verhindert, unseren für den 21.12.2018 geplanten Aufenthalt im Hotel Eilenriede anzutreten.
Wir hatten diesen Aufenthalt über ein Buchungsportal gebucht. Hier hätte man bis zum selben Tag um 14:00 h kostenfrei stornieren können.
Am frühen Morgen des Anreisetages riefen wir im Hotel an und stronierten die Buchung. Hier sagte man uns, dass man alles, auch mit dem Buchungsportal, regeln würde.
Gen Abend teilte uns die Geschäftsführung mit, dass die Person am Telefon nicht kompetent war, und wir die Buchung beim Portal selbt noch stornieren sollten. Dies hatte allerdings zur Folge, dass wir die vollen Kosten zu zahlen hatten.
Wir kontaktierten das Hotel erneut, um zu fragen, ob man dort den Aufwand erstatten würde, da ja auch keine Kosten entstanden sind.
Hierzu war man nicht bereit und verwies auf ein Fehlverhalten unsererseits. Dies vor dem Hintergrund der Aussage der Angestellten und unserer Situation.
Wir finden, dass jedes renommierte Haus hier hätte Kulanz zeigen müssen. Stattdessen begegnete man uns mit Ablehnung und Ignoranz.
Der Verdacht der Geldschneiderei liegt nahe.
In jedem Fall aber ist Kundenzufriedenheit hier wohl ein Fremdwort.
Wir sind enttäuscht.

Nettes kleines Hotel

Ich hatte ein neu renoviertes Zimmer unter dem Dach mit Blick auf Gärten. Das Bad war zwar klein aber ausreichend. Ich konnte bei offenem Fenster schlafen. Es gibt Verdunkelungsvorhänge. Der Fußboden ist neu mit Vinylbelag. Das Bett ist für meinen Geschmack zu weich. Die Zimmertür schließt nicht ganz dicht, dadurch hellhörig und Lichtschein vom Flur. Es gibt einen großen Flachbild-TV.
Das Hotel liegt in einem Wohnviertel mit viel Grün an einer mittelstark befahrenen Straße, die nachts aber weniger frequentiert ist. Sehr praktisch ist die Nähe zur U-Bahn und die Bushaltestelle vor der Tür.
Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück war für den Preis überraschend reichhaltig und für eine 2-Sterne-Haus absolut in Ordnung. Der Check-Out wird von der Dame beim Frühstücksbuffet erledigt.
