Great traditional food in a handy location!

We stopped by for some dinner on a cold Saturday night in December and thoroughly enjoyed the traditional German winter food that was on offer.
The duck and Goulash was absolutely delicious as was the local German beer that was on offer.
All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our experience and would go back again if in the area.

Great location old town

No it is not fancy. But if you need a bed for a sleep over it is perfect. It is located right in the old town and city centre. Plenty of local bars, restaurants and a great diversity of stores around. The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly and it has a nice, cosy typical local style bar next to it.

This is criminal

I paid almost 180,- Euros for a night in this hotel. It was around Hannover Messe trade fair but still this is extortion! The interior of the hotel has obviously not been renovated since the 1980s. The mattress had the hardness of a bowl of mash. To make matters worse, the building is so badly soundproofed that I heard the person in the room next door snoring (as well as - obviously - their alarm at 5 a.m.).
Avoid by all means!

Weekend Visit

I have stayed at this hotel before so knew what to expect. The accomodation is basic but comfortable. The breakfast is always very good with well supplied platters and excellent coffee.
Although I had not been in Hannover for 3 years, and even then, only visited the bar as I was in another hotel, the owner remembered me and welcomed me like an old friend. This is not an expensive hotel, £186 for 3 nights including breakfast, and is good for a boys' weekend which is why I was there.
The only drawback is that it is closed on Sundays so you have to eat elsewhere. I do not understand why a previous reviewer had to pay in advance as I have never had this problem; I have always paid on booking-out.

Basic accommodation

Based in City centre. Cheap And básic no air con , tiny space . Not very freindly recepción ... Would nt go there again in a hurry ,however , budget holidayers would be fine. I found it funcomfortable ,cramped And dísmal. Read small print about cáncellation you have to pay full amount if you booked for more days than you can ENDURE .
