We can't recommend the hotel further.
The landlord/manager said that we should have seen the sign after all. After a long drive you have no understanding for this, because there was not even an apology from the host / manager.
The hotel is not recommended for disabled people. Narrow stairs lead to 3 floors, the lighting is very weak and caution is advised when going down, as it is easy to miss the last step.
The rooms are small and simply furnished. Also very dimly lit. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was reasonable in price.
The hotel is located directly on a thoroughfare and rush hour traffic started at 5am. The resraurant was closed for vacation.
All these disadvantages were not mentioned in the description or communicated to the guest in advance by email.

Disappointed, too expensive, marginal breakfast
Poor breakfast (no cooked items, except some eggs), no sausages (this is Germany mind you).
Restaurant closed, we knew this beforehand but still...
Pretty expensive for what they have to offer.

Good and clean hotel with very friendly staff
The room was just right with excellent beds and very quiet at night.
Breakfast was good and ample.
Staff were very nice and helpful, we had some nice conversations.
Our overall impression: this is a good, clean place for one or more (plenty to see here) nights.
The location is very handy: just 3 kilometers from the A3 autobahn, far enough not to be hindered by noise.
We will definitely come back !

Small but sufficient
The rooms are rather small, but contain all you need including a mini bar, a good bed, wifi and sky TV.
The people is very nice and breakfast is good.
Some rooms have a balkony. That gives some more space to move.
Would stop over again.
Only the price was fairly high. Didn't expect 75€ for one night. Mus be croudy Erlangen and Nuernberg business trips fault...
