Just right!

To get to know the cultural aspects in Essen, we were with our over 80 year old mother for 3 days in Essen. In the run-up to this, I left 15 hotels by bike. The Hotel Maximilians did not disappoint us. Special identification number: The love and devotion with which it has obviously been worked over years to make the guests a pleasant stay. Of course 5 stars!

Hotel Maximilian's Manfredstrs 10 Essen

Good attention and good breakfast too.
A little bit old in my opinion but would go again if possible.
Soft bed and pillows .
Lucky to have a refrigerator.
Did not the bathroom, kind of old and dark.
Internet was fine.
Stairs on corridor made difficult to go with a heavy luggage .

Good for business stop overs

I've stopped here a couple of times now and been completely satisfied each time.
The rooms are clean, the WiFi is fast and the buffet breakfast is very good. It's 20-25 minutes from Düsseldorf airport by taxi.

Improved from last time

I visited the hotel last year and it was Ok. Now sInce my last visit they changed the WIFI Access so you don't need a Password per device and you get a softdrink and sandwich when you book a Business room.
Breakfast buffet is good.

thank you very much for your feedback. We did our best to "upgrade" our WIFI to the best and fastest connection which is possible here. In this step, we have also simplified the login and we have installed a completely new software. We are happy to hear your positive feedback about this :)

Very pleasant surprise

This little gem was well worth the visit. From the excellent team at the reception to the people serving at the breakfast, everyone was super friendly and pleasant, and went out of their way to help whenever they could. I loved it. The decor is minimalistic and efficient. Everything works exactly like you expect it to in Germany. It's well located in a quiet and attractive Street, within walking distance of the main attractions.
