Pleasant family run hotel

Stayed here for 1 night and really enjoyed the stay. Staff were very welcoming and helpful for me. Breakfast was well done and service was really good. Would have given it a 5-star except for missing elevator to carry bags to upper level, and limited parking.

It's going ok.

The reservation was quick and easy, as was the friendly welcome from the owner.
Room 224 in the annex was big enough, the bed was comfortable, it was quiet and generally clean. The breakfast was OK and appropriate for the price.
Points of criticism were: no darkening option, many of the stored TV channels were encoded, the wellness area, which was the reason for the booking, had been closed for a long time without prior notice.
An absolute no-go, however, was the mold on the shower partition on the inside of the shower and the silicone seams on the windows in the bathroom and also in the bedroom. According to the owner, these defects are to be remedied.

Comfortable time travel

Hotel Roese has been around for ca 135 years. The carpet celebrating its 120th year can be found in the hallways. The hotel likely plays a proud role in the history of Bebra as it houses a cinema and „Badegarten” as well.
The rooms are comfortable but it does take one back to the 80s and not much has been done in the rooms or bathrooms since then beyond maintaining them.
The breakfast was good and is in the old part of the hotel which looks nice vs the entry at the side where you time travel into the early 80s.
Compared to other places we stayed at in the local area (not Bebra), I found this hotel quite expensive for what was actually on offer.

Standard hotel with breakfast

Hotel Röse is easy to get to and from in car/on MC or by train. It looks really nice from the outside but the biergarten looks like it is not used - and we love cozy biergartens.
The breakfast was standard, but the coffee was bad and juice and water was warm.

Nettes Hotel, ideal für zwei Nächte.

Nettes Hotel, einwandfreier Service herrliches Frühstückohne glutenfrei undlaktosefrei Produkte. Probleme das Wifi war nicht perfekt und die Rezeption ist nicht immer besetzt, d.h. man muß genau dann kommen, wenn man es sagt. Genütliche Betten. Tolle Lage in der Stadtmitte.
