Authenticity and charm in the heart of Shkodër

We stayed at Hotel Tradita and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The hotel stands out for its traditional, well-kept style, which allows you to enjoy a different stay with a lot of character.
The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, perfect for lounging. The staff was impeccable, always close and willing to help, which made us feel at home. We were prepared breakfast to take away at 6 am and, in addition, we were able to leave the car parked two days for a small price.
Definitely one of the best places to stay in Shkodër. We would recommend it 100%.

Nice hotel. Bad food

Lovely hotel. But the restaurant isn’t great. Reviews were mixed but as we were staying we took the chance. Ordered goat casserole on recommendation from the water. And it was basically very dry and chewy goat meat. No sauce in sight. My daughter ordered the sausages and they were dry and chewy as well. Which is quite an achievement for sausages! I would avoid the food. By it’s a nice place to stay

Historic but very unwelcoming staff

Very authentic place but don’t stay there. The ac doesn’t work (in 2 out of our 3 rooms) which was
Horrible. The staff was very unhelpful, no technician available,
We basically had to suffer unspeakable heat. Rooms
Are tiny, and very basic we wanted an extra pillow they have no extras, tiny shampoo bottle for 2 and to get another one is a huge deal. The fact is that The hosts are very dry and unwelcoming, totally unfriendly.
Anything is too much to ask.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE

POSITIVE POINT: hotel very close to the center
NEGATIVE POINTS (many)
- No elevator
- No fridge in the room
- centralized air conditioning that WORKS WHENEVER IT WANTS
In our room, BROKEN SAFE, sink DRAIN that was leaking profusely (never fixed), AIR CONDITIONING blocked (with 36 degrees)
But above all, requests are not listened to (they say "my colleague is coming," but no one ever arrives).
...and in all of this I never heard the word SORRY, but only a lot of arrogance!
Too bad!

Hotel Tradita - accommodation with character.

Hotel Tradita is a set of beautiful old buildings with tons of character and a beautiful courtyard where you can eat and listen to live music most nights. It is a very short walk to the main tourist streets. Although on a main road it is quiet. The food is excellent. We had dinner and few times. Breakfast is buffet style with tons of options ranging from cereals, cheeses, yogurts, fresh fruit, cooked food, breads, jams, olives etc. It is also very clean. Great value for money too.
