Apparently not the best hotel in the town. Well, a decent one, but the quality is not up to the average standards. Our room was relatively big, the furniture clean but rather old, breakfast basic. Good location, cheap price.

There was no free breakfast as mentioned, the reception speaks no English (not that big of a deal), but the bathroom was the worst. Water went from freezing hot to boiling over and over, there is a drop ceiling that doesn’t fully connect to the wall and a hole in the washroom joining to the next room so you could hear everything. The other guest smoked in their room so the smoke came through the hole. This seems like a retrofitted room and not an actual hotel room.

Nice cheap and friendly hotel.

This was a slightly bizarre stay, it had been booked through my travelling companion, when we arrived we were offered 2 rooms both with twin beds, the larger one was 101 and my friend offered me that one, given that he'd booked t I took the slightly smaller twin 103, on entering the room there was clearly a smell of stale cigarette smoke, Albania allows smoking in bars I'm not sure about hotel rooms, but everybody smokes, then I realised that there wasn't window in the room, it was more like a cell. I asked if I could move, there was a bit of a flap and I was told I could have 105 for one night but have to move back to 103 the following day because there were 2 people staying, I pointed out that there was two beds in 103 but they insisted it was a single room, as a non smoker it really isn't very pleasant but it was clean, with a modern bathroom and the staff were very friendly, when their lack of English became a problem they went for a man out of the office next door who could translate. Also 103 didn't have a TV, although there were no English channels anyway. I was nice enough and very cheap, just ask that you're not put into 103.

Esperienza non positiva

Hotel posto in zona centrale a Shkoder, ma al contempo abbastanza silenziosa. La nostra camera era piccola e scomoda per l'assenza di tapparelle o scuri sulle vetrate, per cui si veniva svegliati sistematicamente alle prime luci del mattino. Bagno senza finestra, con porta scorrevole in vetro trasparente. Cattiva colazione, costituita da cappuccino scialbo, un bicchiere di latte, succo imbevibile e merendina confezionata. Pulizia non eccellente. Ci è stato inoltre impossibile comunicare con qualcuno che gestisse la struttura, in quanto abbiamo incontrato solo una signora che parlava unicamente albanese. Unica nota positiva: presenza di TV, condizionatore e Wi-Fi. Lo consiglio per un soggiorno di massimo una notte e per la posizione.
