Great riverside lodge

We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable with views over the river and peaceful sleep. The hospitality was welcoming and the food was great. Lots of birds in the garden!

most amazing stay in our whole trip in Namibia! <3

Definitely the highlight stay of our 3 week trip! Amazing, caring and friendly staff, who's always there right on point. They even cooked a veggie meal every night for me - thank you so much! The food was 5 stars all the way through. So good! Our Chalet was incredible! We stayed right at the Okavango River - such fantastic views on the patio! The room itself was very clean, spacious and comfortable. We booked and enjoyed a Sundowner River Boat Tour with Shametu to see lots of Hippos! Also we booked a morning Game drive with our amazing guide Mr Ken, who found us some Lions at Buffalo Core Area! The location is perfect to explore Mahango and Buffalo Core Area. We stayed for 3 nights, but could've stayed for a month! :D
We'll be back! <3

Shametu River Lodge Review

The Shametu River Lodge is a beautiful lodge on the banks of the Kavango river in Namibia. The accommodation as well as the meals and staff services were excellent. The lodge was vary good value for money as it was not that expensive in comparison with other lodges in the Okavango delta. It is an ideal place to stay for a few days to explore the region.

Amazing!

We stayed there over New Year’s Eve. It is a beautiful, luxurious place—perfect for relaxing and taking riverboat trips to see hippos

Camping

Camping Spot, nice comfy, all what is needed, clean, Private. No river view- but that was stated by the lodge from the start so was no issue.
