Good option when in Ottawa

This hotel is less than a month old, and I stayed for one night. Overall, I had a very good experience.
One of the things I liked most was the large check-in and drop-off area. It’s big enough to drive in, check into the hotel, and then easily drive around to access the underground parking. The parking garage has only two levels, but it is bright, spacious, and easy to navigate.
The lobby is large and welcoming, and there is a restaurant on the main floor with a nice outdoor terrace.
My room had two queen beds, which were separated by the bathroom — I thought this was a really cool and unique layout. I slept in the bed closest to the window, and it was extremely quiet. I didn’t hear any street noise or hallway noise, which made for a very comfortable night’s sleep. The bed itself was also very comfortable. There were two TVs in the room, which was a nice bonus.
The gym on the 6th floor was also beautiful. It has a nice outdoor terrace and an amazing view of Parliament, especially around sunset. This was definitely one of my favourite features of the hotel.
The room was a little dark and I would have preferred more natural light. The desk was also a bit small, and the refrigerator wasn’t deep enough to fit a regular square Tupperware container.
The service was very nice overall, and considering how new the hotel is, everything was clean and well maintained.
The location is okay, but I would be cautious about walking around the area at night. Ottawa has quite a visible homeless population, and there is a YMCA just around the corner where there were quite a few homeless people and people struggling with drug use. Personally, I would not feel comfortable walking in that area at night.
Overall, I really liked the hotel itself and would consider staying there again, especially because of the comfortable rooms, quiet nights, beautiful gym and terrace, spacious parking, and friendly service.

The room was spacious and very clean. But it is the quietness that was so impressive. Highly recommend.

Great stay

We stay 2 days during the AMO conference and had a very pleasant stay. It is close to the market area and the Rogers Center. The staff could not have been more pleasant. I had conversations with the manager of housekeeping, guest services and food services, they were exceptionally kind and were patient when I asked numerous questions about the new Moxy’s. The breakfast was delicious and was served by “Baz” , an exceptional server. We enjoyed the patio to just catch a breath during our busy stay. Very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. We asked for a more comfortable chair in our room and one was delivered very quickly. Truly a great place to stay!!!!

Misused your debit card and your money

My debit card has been misused by the front disk guy ,I am unable to reach out dor any manager.every time I called, the front disk person inform me that he is unable to provide me with manager email to solve my problem. The deducted my one night stay for five times,and when I reached out with the accountant which was really difficult to reach her out,she said that its only authization,so since when hot would authorized (5 TIMES THE one NIGHT STAY) . Actually I dont know if this is a real branch of moxy group but i literally have been robbed in this hotel.

What a great hotel!! Love everything about it!
We got late checkout which was 1:00 PM. at no extra cost.
As our flight was later in the afternoon, the hotel stored our luggage after checkout at no extra charge.
Room lighting could be improved.
